School district Assistant Superintendent Jeanne Howe referenced the two incidents in a district website post Tuesday, advising "at least one student made reference to a school shooting." He was investigated for threats made via electronic communications against Jefferson schools and students. The second incident was reported Friday and involved a 13-year-old Jefferson Township Middle School student who was charged with cyber-harassment and creating a false public alarm. He was investigated for implied threats against Jefferson schools and students. The first, reported last Thursday, involved a 14-year-old Jefferson Township High School student who was eventually charged with disorderly conduct. JEFFERSON - Two separate incidents involving possible security threats to schools and students were investigated last week, and even though police found "no credible threat," existed, two young teens were charged.
